I live outside of Atlanta, Georgia with my wife Tara and son Miles. We have a love for travel and have traveled 49 of the 50 states and much of Europe. We are originally from South Florida and have family and friends scattered across Florida and Georgia.

Work Experience

Learn more about my extensive experience in Software and Solution Design. During my 20+ years as a FTE and consulting as a Contractor, I’ve had the unique opportunity to work with many companies and experience how they operate and what techniques they use to design, build and manage complex enterprise applications.

Sr. Solution Architect, Suncoast Credit Union

March 2025 – Current

Design business, banking and mobile systems for the largest Credit Union in Florida. Focused on enterprise modernization and system integration across the banking CORE, vendors, and business systems to provide a member-focused experience. Systems are spread across a robust technical stack that includes AZURE, large data repositories, multiple mobile/web platforms, and numerous vendor integrations for transaction processing, compliance, etc. Work hand-in-hand with leadership, Project Managers, Development Leads, Business Analysts, Business teams, vendors, Infrastructure, Compliance and Security to ensure systems align with business requirements, security standards, compliance, etc. Application design includes use of AI tools (Cursor) and are align to TOGAF standards.

Sr. Solution Architect, RaceTrac

December 2023 – March 2025​

Architect, design, and provide technical leadership for the largest development, business team and group of applications at RaceTrac. Maintain ownership of the design, integrations, data ingestion, environments, and modernization of Fuel Applications that enable dispatch, delivery, pricing, purchasing, inventory, billing, partner integration, reporting and overall management of fuel systems. These applications have a large technical footprint (Azure hybrid environment) and serve business teams across the entire enterprise. Responsible for creation of all solution and architecture deliverables including Solution Profiles. Solution Designs, Options Analysis, Product Analysis, Architecture Landscapes, etc.

Sr. Solution Architect, Cognizant

September 2022 – December 2023

Provide solution design and technical leadership and for the design, development, integration, and implementation of enterprise applications. Work hand-in-hand with key stakeholders and business teams for solution design, technical designs, detailed assessments, platform modernization and Cloud initiatives. Lead projects through the complete lifecycle by maintaining an open line of communications with the business teams, leadership team, onshore and offshore development teams.
– Charter Communications – Lead the design of an enterprise-wide privacy system that received customer requests and removed personal/sensitive data from business applications to meet regulatory requirements.
– Duke Energy – Solution design and technical leadership for modernization project moving legacy billing and service order systems to SAP and cloud based (AWS) platforms.

Sr. Solution Architect, Invesco

August 2019 – August 2022

Design diverse solutions that integrate the Invesco enterprise content platform (Alfresco) with the applications that support the enterprise across the globe (MuleSoft, SalesForce, AEM, AWS, BPM, BI, etc.). Lead the analysis and Solution Design process to provide content management, data integration, workflow, document creation, and document distribution functionality for business teams worldwide. Works with Product Manages and business teams to understand their needs and design robust solutions while providing expert guidance and following enterprise standards, policies and technical strategy. Provide daily guidance and input for Agile development teams to ensure application customizations, integrations, functionality, and deployments stay true to the solution design and enterprise standards. Represent the ECM/Distribution team within Enterprise Architecture and maintain all integration and product roadmaps for the platform. Work with vendors to assess vendor offerings and incorporate them into the roadmap and solutions offered to the enterprise.

Sr. Solution Architect, Cognizant

May 2016 – August 2019​​

Provide technical leadership and expertise for the design, development, and implementation of enterprise applications. Consult with clients (C-level, key stakeholders and business teams) for detailed assessments, product selection, Cloud and Center of Excellence initiatives. Lead projects through the complete lifecycle by maintaining an open line of communications with the business teams, management team, onshore and offshore development teams. Application expertise includes ECM, BPM/Workflow, Automated Data Capture/Imaging, Forms, Reporting, Cloud initiatives/Cloud migrations (Azure, AWS, IBM, private Clouds) and more.
– Wells Fargo (New Content Platform) – Provided guidance, architecture/system design, and detailed recommendations for updating of the existing content management (CMS) platform. Included version updates, platform migrations, and security improvements to streamline, reduce cost, and improve overall performance. Created detailed solution designs, story revisions, and oversite for the development teams during the engagement.
– Wells Fargo (Center of Excellence) – Performed an audit and made recommendations for improvement for the Center of Excellence (CoE) that oversees the development and management of the enterprise’s Content Management System.
– Walgreens – Performed a detailed analysis of their Medicare/Medicaid and Physician Prescription Approval process. Created detailed Solution Designs to improve system accuracy, speed of processing, and physician/customer experiences.

Sr. Consultant and ECM Practice Lead

December 2013 – May 2016

Serve as the ECM practice lead for the ECM/BPM teams. Provide project oversite and architecture/design input for enterprise implementations of IBM FileNet P8, Case Management, BPM, Datacap, Cognos (reporting), Cloud initiatives/Cloud migrations (Azure, AWS, private Clouds), and 3rd party/line of business application integrations. Lead the ECM development activities for larger enterprise clients and ensure solutions meet business and functional requirements while maintaining enterprise standards, policies, and best practices. Provided management of ECM consultants (HR functions, reviews, mentorship), and coordinated onshore and offshore project teams.
– Deutsche Bank – Designed and guided the team in the creation of a portal, workflow, metadata taxonomy, and storage system to manage banking policies around the globe for many different business teams.
– State of Tennessee – Improved the state’s TennCare application and approval process by updating the system’s content storage technologies, improving their workflow, and updating their system integration with other business applications.
